Welcome to SAHJA Junior Ambassadors
SAHJA is pleased to present the Junior Ambassador program, helping young riders develop the leadership and providing opportunities for high school aged equestrians to give back to their community.
Benefits of Jr. Ambassadors
- Help make SAHJA a better community
- Community service hours
- Make like-minded friends from other barns
- Learn the basic protocol of a functioning board
Jr. Ambassador requirements and responsibilities
- SAHJA member in good standing
- In high school or entering in fall
- Willing to commit to four meetings yearly
- Minimum of 20 SAHJA volunteer hours
- Positively promote SAHJA
- Assist in volunteer and fundraising at SAHJA events (medal finals, tiebreaker, SAHJA banquet, and guest clinic)
- Find sponsors and basket donors
- Fundraising
- Membership recruiting
- Positive Role models for Jr. Partners

- Be prepared to step into Jr. Ambassadors
- Positive Role Model to look up to
Jr. Partner requirements and responsibilities
- SAHJA member in good standing
- Guardian Consent
- 7th or 8th grade (Younger children can help out at events)
- Positively promote SAHJA
- Help at events
